Competitors are offered 115 stage miles in the Kielder forest complex, held over one and half days commencing Friday evening with stages run at night. Competitors can enter a pre-event shakedown test which will be held on the Thursday afternoon. The reconnaissance starts Friday morning, scrutineering and documentation on Friday afternoon.
Following its successful format the rally remains with the start and finish in Carlisle town centre and base at the nearby airport. The forest stages are relatively close to Carlisle with no remote service available.
There are much fewer road miles than in previous years, which has made for a more compact event for competitors. The finish celebrations take place on the ramp back in the centre of Carlisle on Saturday evening.
