Isle of Man International Rally (Asphalt)
Rally Isle of Man slims down to two days of competition for 2009, helping to keep competitors costs to a minimum, but the challenge of this unique event will be retained in every sense. Over 170 asphalt stage miles will be packed into Friday and Saturday.
There will be a choice of dates for recce, over the weekend of 4th/5th July or Thursday 9th. Shakedown moves to Thursday evening, from 6pm until 9.30pm. Documentation will be on Wednesday evening, or throughout Thursday alongside scrutineering.
The rally starts at 10am on Friday, taking in 100 stage miles, and concludes at 5pm on Saturday with the TT Grandstand celebrations after a further 75 miles of action. The never-to-be missed Prize Presentation begins at 8.30pm.
