Pearson's triple Twingo debut

Garry Pearson from Duns makes a triple debut with his first run in the full MSA British Rally Championship (BRC) in his new left-hand drive Renault Twingo.

Bournemouth’s Rallye Sunseeker International, which forms part of the BRC, British Junior Rally Championship and Twingo Renaultsport R1 Trophy UK, gets under way this weekend.

21 year-old Garry hasn’t driven the Twingo in anger yet and hasn’t driven a left-hand drive car on gravel before. If this wasn’t enough of a challenge the 2011 BRC Challenge Star of the Future award winner also has a new co-driver, Craig Wallace from Fife.

The crew’s focus this year is to win the Twingo Trophy and British Junior title, the prize for which is a drive on the final round of the French Rally Championship, Rallye du Var.
