BRC return for Welsh rally veteran Gethin Jones

Former Ka Champion and National F2 Champion Gethin Jones is making his comeback to the MSA British Rally Championship (BRC) on Rallye Sunseeker International. After an absence of 13 years Gethin, from Chepstow, South Wales will be piloting a Ford Fiesta ST for the AVS Motorsport team alongside teammate Matt Cotton.



“It’s really exciting to be back in the championship after so long” said 41 year old Gethin, “I’m really looking forward to the challenge of measuring myself against the best young talent in the country and showing experience still counts. I haven’t driven a rally car in anger for a few years as I have been competing on endurance mountain bike races, so it will be nice not to pedal for a change.”

Gethin will be co-driven by Kevin Devine, who partnered Gethin to class success on Wales Rally GB in 1999.
