Nikara back to BRC with Citroën DS3 R3T

Jarkko Nikara will return to the MSA British Rally Championship behind the wheel of Autosport Technology’s Citroën DS3 R3T.



The reigning BRC R2 and Teams Cup Champions are excited by the project. Team spokesman said “We certainly enjoyed working with Jarkko and Petri in 2010 so when the opportunity came to resume the partnership in 2012 we all worked really hard to make it happen. I’m sure with Jarkko, Petri and the DS3 R3T we have a winning combination and it will be a very interesting year.”

Jarkko commented “It’s fantastic to be returning to the BRC with Autosport Technology and to be driving the Citroën DS3 R3T – I know this is a very good car and I’m sure we can be setting fastest stage times.”

The first time Jarkko will drive the car in anger will be at the shakedown for Rallye Sunseeker.  “We won’t have time to test the car before this event but the plan is to find a pace we’re happy with.”

Rallye Sunseeker is the first round of the MSA British Rally Championship. It starts with a ceremonial start on Friday 24th February before an action packed Saturday 25th in the forests around Poole and Bournemouth.
