TEG Sport to run Pirelli Star Driver for fourth year

The 2012 BRC Pirelli Star Driver will compete in a Škoda Fabia R2, run by British team Pirelli TEG Sport which has fielded the star driver entry for the last three seasons.

Pirelli is delighted to be working with the TEG Sport team again in 2012 which has consistently demonstrated the high standards of professionalism needed to succeed at the required level.

Stuart Newby commented “We are very excited to be working with Pirelli for a fourth year.  Without doubt the Škoda is one of the best cars out there and it was clear from our visit to the Czech Republic that the engineering is at a very high level.”

Finnish driver Jukka Korhonen won the Pirelli funded drive at last year’s shoot out and will be co-driven by Mikael Korhonen. They will be joined in the Pirelli TEG Sport Team by Arron Newby and Julian Wilkinson in a sister Fabia.
