Citroën UK

Citroën UK joins the manufacturer’s championship for 2012, supporting the series with DS3 R3. Being run by a number of privateer outfits across the six national events, the 210bhp DS3 R3 is based on the award-winning Citroën DS3 production car. Developed by Citroën Racing, the DS3 R3 has a tuned four-cylinder 1.6 THP petrol engine and makes use of a six-speed sequential semi-automatic gearbox.

DS3 has already achieved an impressive motorsports pedigree, helping Citroën secure a seventh WRC Manufacturers Championship with the most successful racing driver of all time – Sébastien Loeb – behind the DS3 WRC’s wheel. The partnership with the MSA British Rally Championship will create another proving ground for the future stars of the WRC and Citroën is fully committed to supporting grass-roots rallying and motorsport in the UK.
