Overview of the event
2012 will be the 52nd running of the event since it started as a Road Rally in 1958. It has always been organised by Wolverhampton & South Staffordshire Car Club Ltd. and for the last 16 years we have been proud to be sponsored by Bulldog Security Products Ltd of Much Wenlock.

Loved by competitors and spectators alike, the Bulldog is the only foray into the classic Welsh forests. The majority of the stages last used for the final round of the World Rally Championship, Wales Rally GB.

This year we have also formed a close partnership with Welshpool Town Council and are hoping to set up a number of activities for all ages on the run up to the event on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th March.

Spectator Information

Spectator guide: HERE

Much of the information required by spectators, such as an outline schedule, overview maps and accommodation details, is contained in the event’s Rally Guide 1, which can be downloaded by clicking the link above when it becomes available.

Rally Guide 1 is a planning guide and is produced several months ahead of the event, so details are subject to change closer to the date of the rally.

All the events in the MSA British Rally Championship produce a spectator programme or rally pack and passes, which in most cases are available to order online for delivery about a week before the rally. This is to allow the organisers to include last minute changes, maps and entry lists where possible.

In some cases the programmes are only available to purchase in or around rally HQ, close to the rally itself, so Rally Guide 1 is an essential supplement to the souvenir programme. Please keep an eye on the events’ own websites for programme pre-booking details or locations of where they can be purchased.

Most importantly please help support the events by buying a programme and help keep them safe by sticking to recommended spectator areas. And if you want to be close to the action and be part of the team, you could always volunteer to marshal.
